Practical info : The old part of Montady village, where this property is located, is built on a hillside topped by a romantic ruined tower. From beside this tower there is a panoramic view of the area including the Etang, a shallow lake drained in the 11th Century, and divided into pie shaped wedges of land for agriculture with a complex arrangement of drainage channels. The full service village is a great base for exploring coastal attractions nearby i.e. Agde, Séte, Cap d'Agde with its water park, Marseillan, Portiragnes Plage, Narbonne and the like.
The nearest airport is Montpellier approximately 1 hour’s drive with regular Ryanair flights to and from London Stansted (approx 1½ hours). Carcassonne and Perpignan airports are also viable choices.
