Location :
Profoundly influenced by the Mediterranean, Languedoc-Roussillon shares a border with Spain to the south and stretches as far as the Rhône delta to the east. Its long beaches alternate with wild lagoons, a paradise for flamingos. Its annual 300 days of sunshine draw large numbers of house buyers as well as cigales, those enormous grasshopper type creatures which, despite their profound nasal chanting, seem very hard to spot. You won’t find hard to spot, however, the beautiful natural surroundings, monuments, charming villages and towns such as Montpellier, Nîmes, Carcassonne, Uzès and the Pont du Gard (four sites included on the Unesco World Heritage list), to say nothing of the cultural circuits with prehistoric, Roman or Cathar themes. In the hinterland, charm and authenticity have been extensively preserved. The Haut Languedoc and Cévennes nature reserves and the wooded slopes of Cerdagne are always popular with hikers taking in the magic scents of rosemary, lavender and thyme. This colourful country also produces fine wines which every year earn the respect of a greater number of wine lovers. You may well be washing down the local sea bass caught that morning or a Côte de Boeuf lightly scented with fresh herbs with these eccentric wines. And that's only the beginning

Description :
This may well be the cheapest property we have with a swimming pool. And don’t think that the reason that the property is so cheap is that the rest of it is in poor condition as this is just not the case as you may be able to gauge from the photos. The villa was built in 1993 and there is no doubt you’ll be spending much of your time outside enjoying the Languedoc climate to the full. Especially when you see the superb swimming pool and the surrounding decking which we feel is particularly attractive. And so you don’t get too much of that Languedoc sun, the appealing terrace is covered, just the place to sip away at a nice cool glass of champagne with the view adding to the mystique of the place. So that the garden can be neatly maintained, there is an underground room where various pieces of garden equipment can be stored. It’s difficult to match the impressive exterior but the interior of this villa certainly tries very hard to do so. The pretty lounge/dining area comes with a fireplace and adjacent is the superb kitchen built in a contemporary style with imaginative units, gas stove, double sink component, 2 saucepan cupboards and an oven. The 3 bedrooms are very smart and the largest enjoys a mezzanine level allowing for extra accommodation space. The nice bathroom has a sink and WC and finally there is a veranda allowing for additional options for meal times.
